5 Things I'm Stoked On Right Now

  • I made a playlist on Apple music that I've been listening to a lot this week. I called it "Vibey Girl Bands." Check it out. It includes bands like Snail Mail and Soccer Mommy.

  • I love photography. However, it's not always convenient to carry a camera everywhere. AND, the native camera app on my iPhone leaves a lot to be desired. If you feel the same way, let me introduce the new Moment app! I've been a fan of Moment lenses for a few years now and this app doesn't disappoint. It gives you creative control over shutter speed, ISO, exposure and a whole host of other tools. You can even shoot in RAW! This app and my Lightroom mobile app just took productivity on the move to another level. Check out the app HERE.

  • Sandwiches. Nuff said. If you ever find yourself in West Chester, PA, you need to check out Love Again Local Sandwich Shop. West Chester is about 40 miles west of Philadelphia and about 40 miles east of Lancaster, Pa. Me and mine are happy to make the 40 mile trek for these fantastic sandwiches.  Everything is handmade to order, in shop, using 100% plant based ingredients. Make sure you save room for one of their cookies too. Trust me.

  • I just read a book. I know, not typically a monumental accomplishment for most. I'm not most. I'm a terrible reader. It takes me forever to read even the most basic of books. It's not that I don't like to read. I'm constantly reading things. I'm just a slow reader. And easily distracted. Shocking, I know. Anyway, I just finished "The Very Worst Missionary" by Jamie Wright.  It follows the story of Jamie growing up "As a quirky Jewish kid and promiscuous punkass teen" (her words) to finding herself in the modern missionary machine (my words). She experiences first hand the short-comings of the American Christian do-gooders and through her experiences comes to the conclusion that maybe when we are told to love our neighbors, it literally means OUR NEIGHBORS.  She's raw, cynical, sarcastic and honest. that's a good enough reason for me to read it.
  • MISSION IMPOSIBLE:FALLOUT. It was fantastic. Change my mind.

      - After previewing Soccer Mommy and Snail Mail, I downloaded their albums to my phone for further listening. Check the latest album from Belly.
      - Moment gets higher marks for the iPhone. I’ll wait until it improves for Android phones, but sounds like a great app.
      - Currently reading “Get in the Van: On the Road with Black Flag.” Anticipated completion date is March 2020. Fellow slow reader here with three young boys constantly asking for stuff.
Keep up the great work, Larry!
